Kathleen Grover - Attorney

Attorney Grover practices in Connecticut state and federal courts, primarily in the area of civil litigation, including both mediation and arbitration. She has successfully tried to verdict both jury and courtside cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. She has handled cases in a wide variety of practice areas, including employment discrimination, motor vehicle, premises liability, negligent service of alcohol, contracts, trade secrets and municipal liability. Most recently, Attorney Grover successfully represented an employer in an employment discrimination matter before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and a mortgage holder sued by the borrower claiming the mortgage was invalid and therefore held title free and clear of the mortgage. She also successfully defended the verdict in favor of the mortgage holder before the Connecticut Appellate Court. More recently, she successfully argued in a motion for summary judgment that the client's policy provided no coverage and therefore the client had no duty to defend in a high figure case; she then successfully defended the trial court's decision before the Connecticut Appellate Court.
