Attorney Novins' practice focuses on civil litigation involving commercial disputes and construction-related matters. He has represented many general contractors, project developers and subcontractors in litigation arising from contract disputes, property damage and business interruption claims, and personal injuries arising on worksites. Attorney Novins continues to represent insureds under CGL, homeowners and auto insurance policies. Attorney Novins has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts and routinely utilizes alternative dispute resolutions including arbitration and mediation in an effort to reach the most efficient and cost-effective results for his clients.

Attorney Novins successfully defended a developer/contractor of a residential subdivision brought by a neighbor alleging damage to their home due to blasting and water diversion. Ball v. Finelli, et al., Worcester Superior Court, Civil Action No. 98-2506. Attorney Novins also obtained a defense verdict after a 3 week trial representing a general contractor on claims brought by a neighboring business owner for business interruption, negligence and trespass in the construction of a golf course.
